PC Games that never got boring or still aren't!

As long as I have a reasonable break in-between stopping and starting (i.e. a few months), Sim city 4, CoD4, and supreme commander still entertain me for long periods :). However, if I had to play one game solidly with not variety for more than a few months, I think pretty much anything would become extremely boring.
 
Tom Clancy's Raven Shield (RvS) absolutely never tire of that game, best FPS ever made imo. Havent played it in ages but really need to find the time if there are still some servers up :eek: been playing since demo in 2002!!
 
C&C Generals: Zero Hour

I don't know what it is about it. But I STILL play it online every other day and love it.
It's not like I have an old computer either. I have an i5 750 and a 5870, but I just love classic games.

Gameplay > Graphics

+1 loved this game and never tire of it aswell, still open it now and then an run a few maps when i have a spare bit of time :D
 
Quake 3 and tf and tf2. One of the few online shooters i'm not bored of and keep going back to.
 
Dungeon Keeper was awesome. I loved being able to completely customize your dungeon. Anyone know of a modern equivalent?

Sim City 4 - I got bored of it after a while, but sooner or later I would find myself reinstalling it yet again :rolleyes:
 
Has to be San Andreas for me. GTA peaked at that, so much to do, such a large game area, so easy to pick up and play and just have fun. That's what games should be about. I always come back to it if I'm really bored.
 
I can always go back and play Populous: The Beginning over and over again.

I really like how you can shape the terrain to how you want for your own advantage.

Once I start to replay this, I can't stop untill I get to the end again.
 
Company of heroes, released nov 2006 and still the best RTS by miles and still will be when starcraft 2 is out.
 
Max Payne 1 and 2

I downloaded them both for £2 from steam in the sale and I'm addicted brings back some good PS2 nostalgia. :3

Short call on my favourites. Roller tycoon, dungeon keeps 2, pro pinball (timeshock), grandprix ledges, nascar 2003, panzer general.

Champ/football manager being the original desert island disk:)

Truth be told, i play that lot more often than new games:)
