So its a first person shooter that cross's single player and multi-player.... so that makes it what.. a more than 2 person co-op game. Gee that sounds sooo amazing /sarcasm off.

I guess those of us that actually enjoy new plays in PC gaming and the fact that there are only a very minute few developers out there putting out new ways to game for us PC users are the ones looking forward to it.
And no, your assumption may not even be correct, the editor states the trailer doesn't give away any of the true meaning behind the term "cross player" for a start.
As soon as there is one game your system wont play there will most probably be others as well.
I believe I last upgraded my computer from a 2400XP+ AMD/Geforce 4 Ti4200 when it wouldnt play Soldier of Fortune properly.
Whenever there were enemys near by whether they were in the same room or behind a wall I would get triangles across the screen starting from where he was located to the edge of the screen.
I had to keep converging fire on the central location of them, Then Splinter Cell Chaos Theory was released with Shader Model 3 and the rest followed.
The only thing I can suggest is hold out as long as possible til you cant hold out now more then buy a new system because the parts will be a lot cheaper.
In that case, it's not upgrading for just one game, is it?
Generally speaking, whenever I've upgraded it's been for multiple games. Probably the closest I've come was when I bought a Voodoo Graphics, 32meg RAM and Quake 2 on the same day (i.e. I held off buying Q2 until I had a 3d accelerator). Similarly I didn't buy GTA3 until I'd upgraded from my old p3/gf2mx system. But neither of those upgrades was solely for one game, there were others I wanted it for too.
