Works on my Windows 7 64bit, tried it today
Even if you don't play it, Far Cry 2 is worth £2.50 just to drive round and admire all the scenery.

just spotted that its dropped on Steam to £20.09 as well
Ok I bought Farcry 2 for 2.50 cant go wrong.

Getting on a bit now but back in 2004 it was class. The ONLY game I have ever wanted to complete on every difficulty, which I did.

Would have been better spent on a pint to be fair. Far Cry 2 is an abortion.
