*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

The game runs at 60fps on most setups, and it looks great. I hate the fact people judge this game because of the graphics, when it has some of the best artwork you will ever see in a fps. There is also some other unique points to this game too but i wont go into that.

I do have to say though, when I saw the graphics in this game its was a mash up between decent from a distance to... duke nukem when up close! No wonder it runs well on most setups.

Please share! In the interviews leading up to the release date, Carmack's was quoted as saying "the same way we changed FPS gaming with our previous titles, we've got some new revelations in this game which will change things again"... like what??

I meant the game engine, not the game itself. The game is just a bog standard fps shooter with some rpg elements, nothing ground breaking but still good. I'm not going to list the unique things the game engine does, if you want find out just google it, there is a reason why the game is 21gb. ;)

Runespell: Overture is the daily deal on steam. It's 75% off, so £1.99.

It looks very similar to Puzzle Quest (which I really enjoyed), so happy days.

Haven't had chance to play it yet, my only internet access in my new home is my phone. Its going to take a while to download it but I've got Gothic 1 to keep me busy in the meantime. It's right up my street though so its a fairly safe purchase and the dlc expansions have been getting good reviews.
