It says it's a giftable copy? Does that mean I can still claim it as I don't have the first one.

More to the point, is it worth it and what was the first one like? I've had a look at some of the gameplay videos and it seems like my kind of game.

Giftable if you already own it or you can claim it yeah. The second one is receiving favourable press, but is not out for a while on PC.

The first was great, but needed an xbox pad to play (personal preference maybe). Currently reinstalling, it is one of the best free roaming "super hero" type games there is IMO. Your character feels very powerful as you fling yourself around NYC flattening tanks and generally kicking ass. Well worth a look :)

The first one was a shocking port, the worst game I have on my Steam account. Think Silent Hill Homecoming but 20x worse. Was good on the 360 though

This is pretty much what I'm after! Also, I'd be playing with a 360 pad as I do with most console ports.

I hope it's a good chunk better than Infamous? Buggy, repetitive, chunks of city copied and pasted all over the place, an awful plot that takes itself totally seriously. Magical respawns as soon as you turn your back, crackshot binmen with sixth sense and sniper range, death has no consequence(aside from a light jog), incredibly awkward climbing mechanics and camera control. Offensively bad graphics even for the PS3 and I'm really not one to pick too much fault with graphics.

I had a similarly like/hate relationship with Prototype and I'm hoping they fixed all of it's wrongs, while they weren't as numerous and frequent as Infamous, there was a lot.
 
Awesome deal on Shogun 2, snapped it right up. Got the Rise of the Samurai and other DLC on steam waiting to be used from Christmas (when I won Shogun 2 from PC gamer but didn't get it). So hopefully I can enjoy this awesome game. Too bad the weekend is just about to start and I probably won't get it until wednesday :(.
