Cheers for that! Found out that it does not include that actual BF3 game, jsut the dlc. So I bought BF3 itself instead:)

why would you think that the premium service would include bf3? its ea's clone of the cod elite service.

I've been thinking if I should get bf3 premium, not played bf3 since buying it at xmas(when they had it for half price) so think I'll hold off until I've played bf3. thing is I already have the 1st expansion pack which I got free with bf3 as I had a voucher code.

I had to ask the question myself too, as unlike 99% of game expansions it doesn't say something obvious along the lines of "THIS REQUIRES A COPY OF THE FULL BF3 GAME TO BE INSTALLED" on the Origin store page.

If you think about it, calling a product "<Game Name> Premium" is very misleading because in the past I've seen games released that include both original content and expansions or additional content under that moniker or similar (Deluxe, GOTY, Gold etc...)

A modern big-name example would be The Witcher 2, which has a Premium Edition that includes the full game.

Yup, it may sound stupid, but I was literaly a click away from buying Premium without realising that it did not include the game itself. Wonder how many people did EA catch in this trap - I'm sure it should be a legal requirement to list the original game in requirements, I think it's a gaff on their part, but who knows -its EA we are dealing with here:p

Modern Warfare 2 £11.74 - pretty much the cheapest I have seen it for a while. It also registers on Steam.

To purchase digital games from Amazon US, use your UK Amazon account, and add a US billing address to your account (just Google a random address). This address needs to be a valid US address, but nothing will be sent there, and you can access all your games through their website. Some card issuers may charge a small fee for an overseas purchase (usually about £1-2).

Word of warning about the CD key house deal , i bought it and have received a photo of my Max Payne cd key , i can't confirm if the key works yet as i have a slow broadband connection and while leaving my pc downloading the game last night i got up to find the downloads have stopped halfway through , i went back on the link given to me for downloading the game and it says that the file is no longer available from there so i am now left with a cd key and no "legit" download link , a bit frustrating , obviously there are ways to get around this but its a little bit of hassle that is not needed.

If it's just a photo of a key pulled from a retail rip then usually the site states the keys are for use with retail versions when keys have been lost.

May as well just torrent the ISO mate as the DL link was probably just a home made iso anyway so just as legit

Chaser £1.12 on steam. II know some reviews have slated it and it is showing its age a bit now as an FPS but have to say once you get past the 1st couple of dull levels it really opens up into a superb fps shooter. Aready got it on gog but bought again for steam. Well worth the asking price.

Ye i think it was to be honest , doing that now and in about 30 hours time i will find out how it goes :)

^^I'd second the Chaser recommendation, it is a BIG game (over 30 levels) with a wide variety of environments and weapons. Obviously as a pre-2004 (FC/D3/HL2) game the visuals aren't anything to write home about but if you like your FPS then worth a punt.
