*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

Guild Wars 2 is back in stock at Amazon for £34.99. Not really a deal but I for one wanted to know when a boxed version was going to be in stock from a reputable retailer.

Not sure if already posted, Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY edition 2.49 at Gamefly. Anyone who's not played this title might want to give a try, worth every penny at this price.

GMG are offering a game called Age of Fear free until tomorrow night - if you "purchase" it you can then trade it in for a £7 discount on XCOM - cut and paste from the e-mail:

What makes this game giveaway even better? Well if you aren't interested by Age of Fear, you have the option to trade it in immediately to save a fistful of dollars on XCOM: Enemy Unknown!

what a load of nonesense, wont allow me to buy, tells me i have to have bought some form of physical media before i can use the download service.

Thought I'd try & get round this by buying Fuel for £2 yesterday from them so I could download something today, which didn't work.

Called them up & you need have had an order for a physical product on your account for 30days before download titles are available for purchase.

After experiencing "Green Man Gaming" for myself, I'd not even go as far as to enter their URL into my address bar, let alone download anything from them again.

again (as with most people) never had a problem with them, and their customer support is great.

Well you my friend are missing out.

Behind Steam sales they are the next best place for game purchases imo.

Same, I have quite a few games with greenman, great company. But like every single company in the world things go wrong, always a select few who do get bad service. No company has 100% perfect record, every company will have upset someone somewhere.

I can see where you are coming from

I've had issues with them, on both purchases I've made so far, requiring the intervention of support

Sometimes they make you wonder if its just worth paying more for a reliable service:)
