downloading RE5 as we speak, any crossfire issues? planning on playing with 2 6950's.

Plus i know its a good co op game, but is it good single player too?

Been dissapointed by so many games the only ones ive actually played more than 5 hours this year are metro and BC2.

thanks.

Trust me, you won't need crossfire. Capcom really know how to optimize their games, it's just a shame Japanese games never really sit right with me. Resi5's good but feels dumbed down compared to the previous ones (pretty much no puzzles involved).

I've been stuck on the flamethrower level for months

I got a MASSIVE fps gain in re5 with xfire enabled think 40-50s to mid 70s + . capcom are rather good at xfire scaling normally apart from dead rising 2 which cripples itself quite nicely

Yeah dead rising 2 is a bit of a dog... but on Resi5 with a 6950 the framerate's already probably around 60 so unless he's playing on a 120hz monitor Xfire's nothing to really worry about :)

I quite like Dead Rising 2, though its tougher than I thought it would be. I cant seem to beat any of those phycho bosses. Dunno if I'm trying at too low a level or if Im not using the right tactics.

I also dont like the fact you cant customise any of the controls.

I really didn't like Dead Rising 2... it was fun for about 5 minutes but it's one of those games that don't explain themselves properly/give you a proper tutorial. The save system is awful and finding items to craft/finding out what you can craft with what is a chore, plus the difficulty of combat like you said is too hard. I got killed by the tiger boss a few times, every time you die it throws you miles back and navigation is ridiculous, so I quit and never went back.
