*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

Can you confirm that i could install the Origin codes on 1 computer and use the steam codes of the same game on another?

Unless there's some DRM on a game that prevents it, you can install games on as many pcs as you like from either an origin or steam account. There's certainly nothing preventing you from installing a game from origin and then the same game from steam, even if it's on the same pc. If I'm misunderstanding you here and you're asking if you can redeem the games for both origin and steam, then yes you can. It comes with separate keys for both of them

:mad: Whoever took it could have said. Shoulda sent it through trust, sorry buddy!

As mentioned - don't post keys in here, stick them within the locked down forum to stop vile little cretins taking them and posting no thanks;

If the same behaviour happens within the locked down forum we'll take further action.

We're a community here and people who take codes without thanking the generous giver, are scum. End of.

You'd never know who took what!

It's best just to post the game give away and let people pick what they want, don't openly post the key itself, just the game. If someone wants a game, they can trust the key. People are still taking keys without even so much as a thanks in the giveaway, that's OCUK members doing it. :mad:

Correct, btu if the same behaviour happens then we can potentially look at implementing different systems; Such as logging who clicks what in special spoiler tags for one; Just an idea.

No game codes should be posted in the main thread, they should be locked down in the sub forum which is governed by the same rules as the MM (of the top of my head). That doesn't absolutely make sure that those who take the keys do thank the OP for the generous providing of them; However it should aleviate the lurkers which visit the forum (and therefore don't meet entry critieria).

Puzzlingly?!? I'll have you know that when needed I can present sensible arguments. Don't let this signature that DJ made for me fool you!! ;)

Problem is some of us have keys to give away but can't access that forum yet :(

In which case then post up in here and say:

"I have keys available for these games;

BF3,
MOH,
SIMS
etc

Who wants them? First come first served;"

The first to respond you send the keys in trust or an email address provided.

Simples :)

Just don't post the full code.
