I used the "hola" plugin for Chrome (Web browser) - https://hola.org/
Once youve installed that, you'll see it at the top right (probably says off). Click it, turn it on, and select the USA flag.
From there, type origin.com into your browser. It should list all the prices in dollars. If not, try another USA flag.
Sign into origin there. Select BF4 for $29.99 and go to checkout. apply the game code (from the link I provided in my other post).
At this point you can turn off the proxy (top right, turn off).
Enter a US address, and pay by card.
Youll see it in your Origin app now.

Cheers fella, will have a look see!

Just got ME2 and Dead Space 2 for £2.49 each on Origin to complete both collections. Even cheaper with cashback.

Wasn't a problem for me mate. Debit card also.

Really?? I just keep getting

"Your request could not be processed.

We're unable to verify this credit card."

Just tried my other debit card and get

"Your request could not be processed.

This Credit Card Number is invalid. Please check your card and try again."

Could it be because I'm using a US address that they know isnt tied to my account? Using a US hotel address by the way

It could be your bank denying the transaction, because of the US location as a fraud protection.
Definitely made sure the proxy is turned off once you get to the checkout page?
I've also read in places that you don't have to change the address, so maybe try your UK address.

Tried proxy on and off, 2 different debit cards and using a US address and my real UK address. No Joy. Must be my bank?
