Nah, just uPlay... however I believe the Steam version just loads uPlay anyway.

tempted by this, how is COH2 for the single player as ive no interest in the MP
Just a warning, found out from my mate this isn't officially supported on Windows 8 and 8.1 and suffers from bugs and crashes which Relic haven't fixed yet.
Very nice price. I actually enjoyed the SP, doesn't paint the Soviets in a very good light as many reviews and metacritic spammers have mentioned but there are some enjoyable missions, the graphics are decent and the core gameplay is pretty much the same as COH1, even if the story isn't quite as good.
Most of the bugs have been ironed out with recent patches. As for Windows 8 support, I put 44 hours into it on Windows 8 and I think it crashed maybe once. Can't comment on 8.1 but its basically these same core OS so doubt that would be any worse.
trying to buy the walking dead dlc but keep getting server errors on uplay,so anyone thinking getting this may need to give them sometime to sort the issue out or just keep trying ive tried 6 times with same error messages.
Where are you getting the error messages? I just tried and got all the way to just about to pay for it and didn't have any problems, although it did take a while to add it to the cart.

Apologies if already posted but I have bought the F1 2013 steam key for standard version from simplycdkeys @ £6.99 and am contemplating doing the classic DLC through Steam currently 40% off at £7.78 (strangely the Classic upgrade is not discounted and remains at £9.99 - I think they contain the same DLCs?)

They might if they go on a sale, as when one game is on a daily deal or flash sale the whole franchise tends to be. Unless they are 66 - 75% off, which they aren't, then there's a chance they'll be on cheaper... although a chance they won't.
