*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

It is Uplay not Steam. However that being said, even the Steam version uses Uplay, so its one less layer of DRM. I've not had any issues with Uplay, they've improved download speeds of late as well.

I've noticed the increase update speeds of UPlay recently which was my only gripe with the program.

Borderlands 2 for £4 on GreenManGaming, use code GMG20-ZB5D1-93X49 to get it at this price. http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/gb/en/pc/games/rpgs/borderlands-2/

Yeah that was my only gripe as well.

Nemeses, I certainly wouldn't avoid such a great game like Far Cry 3 at £5.62 just because it uses Uplay, would be a shame to miss out. As far as I can see it will be Uplay for the forseeable future.

Agreed. UPlay is only a small part of the gaming experience. :)

GOG have all the Christmas packs they had on again for 24 hours, including the awesome one with all the Wing Commanders for £7.29.

Interesting never played Wing Commander before - While I was looking around gog I actually grabbed Settlers II 10th Anniversary was only a couple of quid.

In other news I thought -Call of Juarez Gunslinger + Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon for £9.99 on steam was quite a nice deal.

Giana Sisters: Twisted Bundle

88% OFF - £2.09

STEAM FLASH DEAL :D

I bought this when it was on offer before christmas and love it :D it's like mario + sonic with graphics of trine2 :)

It's actually a challenge aswell :D

Convinced me to get it, hope it really is like Mario and Sonic lol.

Close call. Was sorting out my Steam library since arriving back home, and noticed Anno 2070 wasn't there, and I was sure I had bought it.

Checked through my emails and couldn't see anything, so added it to my cart again on Steam thinking I must not have bought.

Came to this thread before I had checked out, and when someone mentioned uPlay and "10thanks" code, it kinda twigged that I had bought it there :D

Lol, I've come close to making that mistake before too. Would prefer all my games to be on Steam :(. At least Enhanced Steam stops me looking at prices for games I've already got (most of the time anyway).

Naw just way to many issue of old to ever use anything that require uplay, if it means I miss a few great games so be it. There is always plenty of others.

Cheers for replies.

Hard Reset is a great game for a couple of quid!

(Its only 49p cheaper on steam atm though, could possibly come up for even less than that but when talking about pennies id rather get it sooner! :D)
