I am not a big FPS shooter fan but I really loved Alan Wake... It isn't anything ground breaking but it has such great atmosphere, mechanics and story... OK it is somewhat cliche but it is a damn sight better than most of the current crop of modern day first person shooters... Buy it... Play it at night with a few beers and the lights turned out... Enjoy.

For £2.29 it is an absolute steal. Cheap at twice the price etc!

It was a chore to play to the end.

It is a one-trick pony and you've seen that trick enough after 3 hours of play. It sadly lasts about 12 hours.

More than likely, but with the release of the Ultra edition (coming soon) that wont be using GFWL, I wonder if they will patch AE Multiplayer.
