*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

At a guess it'll be for MP. I believe I've had the Epic Online Services pop up on Satisfactory even though I own it on Steam. Or it'll be anti-cheat, but that's on anything with EAC, even non-UE games like Vermintide 2.

Edit: Yea looks like it's EOS, I can't see EAC running. There is a Marketing Telemetry toggle in the options, though that makes me think they're collecting other things, but then they'd have to to some extent to enable multiplayer.

Yeah, it's not a must play game so I will pass :D

It’s not a great deal, but is £40 odd the best BF6 is likely to be for the foreseeable? I’ve just upgraded my PC but obviously going back to work I’m not going to have a ton of time to get into it. Also majorly distracted with Assetto Corsa Rally (and Evo) which I just bought. Want some fans to show off my new build :o

Don't shoot me but at the price of BF6 and many of the latest EA games if you play any ( also access to the star wars ones etc ) I would almost recommend taking out a years subscription to EA PLAY PRO ( or shorter if you want a "trial")

Overall it is better value if you ask me and there is also some decent games in there !

Red Dead 2 for £10 on Loaded

I refuse to buy. Because as soon as I buy it, it will come up for free on Epic!! :p

I played about an hour and gave up extremely bored. I should give it another go, but I have a feeling this is going to be a walking simulator over substance
Took me about three attempts to get into it and restarting, but when I did really enjoyed it, I played the story and did some of the side mission but generally ignored the collecting\crafting side of things. There's a lot of detail in it if you take the time to see it but can be a bit slow but worth persevering :)

I have tried to play it 3 times at least. Just can't get on with it and uninstall every time.

You have to get by all the prologue stuff before the game really starts. That means leaving the snowy mountains and getting to the camp at Horse Shoe Overlook.

I got way passed that. Still can't get on with it.

Is that because, in game, you have to pay full price for everything? :p

Not every player likes every game. And I can understand why people might not like RDR2. It's walking a fine line between offering a realistic experience and still been a game. And once you get further into the game, a lot of the interesting things to do depends on the player going out finding things to do.

as well as some absolutely terrible controls.

No argument there!! the controls suck, at least on the Xbox.

The most boring game I've ever tried to play in my life and that's not even a joke, as well as some absolutely terrible controls.
For a £fiver I'm be tempted to give it a try. I like open world games but I just have this feeling RDR2 will end up on my "started, never finished" list of games .
