I might have to get some of these! I joined the Total War Rome game pretty late (having not been interested before) but loved it once I did.

I think if I did buy it I probably wouldn't be too bothered about the online component - I loved the first game for its single-player and just enjoyed gradually going through the career mode. I think the only times I ever played online was directly against friends (and even that wasn't that great)...

Really I don't find multiplayer racing to be that fun in these online days - it just cannot compare to 3 friends, some pizza and drinks and an all-night Mario-kart 64 session

Grid 2 is pretty good and for a fiver you cant really go wrong, if playing online I tend to stick to hardcore as theres less people ramming as damage is on.
