I bought Metro 2033 a long time ago and then went back to play again (about two thirds through now) but this time the Redux version. This has added enough to the game overall to make it a worthy purchase.

For me the LL edition is good enough at around £3 or so for the complete set from the above site without paying for the Redux version.

But take a look here and decide for yourself...

I am playing the Redux version of Metro 2033 with SweetFX.

You can also see some pretty good vids over at Youtube showing the differences in the Redux / vanilla with both games. The biggest difference seems to be in the original over that of LL.

The first game release being here...

Is the redux version an addon or mod?

Got the original game but was meaning to start it again?

Yeah the difference is really small. I can understand why some people whop already owned the game would it buy it again.

I saw that Metro last light option on the site but it seems it's possible to get banned for selling steam gifts, so I'll stick to the keys. Which means getting the redux pack ends up being cheaper.

Is there anything I should be aware of before I purchase this?

for the life of me i cant find the evil within.. pc cd key + season pack to buy from a legit place that is much cheaper than steam hahaha ;)

hard game to find in the deals it seems.

I have used them 3 times, and I did have a slight delay in delivery of one key and I had to email them about it. It is generally good though.

Yeah I have had this twice I think, one key was 5 mins and another took about 20 mins but all the rest were almost instant. Depends on the vendor used I guess. I am sure other people have had issues though same with every company though you always get some who get a bad service.
