*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

I don't buy 99.9% of the deals I post on here. I just share the deals when I see them ^_^ From what I hear it's a great game and at that price it's a bargain. :D

Ok no worries thanks :) ... I'll take a look and see if I can find some reviews. I briefly remember it being released but can remember literally nothing about the general consensus on it.

IMO it plays a lot like Ubisoft Game, e.g. AC/Far Cry/Watch_Dogs - bit of crafting, free running, climb towers to unlock the map etc.

The combat is fun, and the highlight of the game - it's always satisfying getting stuck in the middle of 10 uruks and taking them all out without taking a single hit.

I would say it's worth it for £5.99 - I think that's about what I paid for it, but I would have been disappointed if I'd paid full price, towards the end I just went through the final missions as quickly as possible as I just wanted to finish it.

I recently played and completed and found the game fun. WHen you start unlocking the combat abilities you can get to see where the game shines.

Not sure if you played any of the Arkham games, but the combat is comparable - free flowing and based on attack/counter chains and suchlike.

The storyline is alright too, particularly the Golum bits!

Have you played that game? is it any good?

Worth it at that price, if it is a steam key the ultra HD pack will download with it.

It's a mash up of various games IMO, combat is like the Batman Arkham games, free running like Assassins Creed and fairly open map like Far Cry with the encampments, enemy locations etc. Story was fine but struggles to hold up towards the end. IIRC you kind of get told what you need to do quite early as in you know what and how to do in order to finish the main story if that makes sense (it's not like W3 where you move from quest to quest to progress the character story).

Great game. The thing not mentioned so far is the nemesis system which sets it apart from any other game of a similar type. It's worth playing just for that mechanic. I don't like the Lord of the rings in general but had a great time playing it through.

For the price it's a no brainer.

It's the GOTY edition redeemed on Steam. Comes to £5.69 with the Facebook 5% discount code.

Just posted this on another thread about RTS games in the OC forums:

Just had a look on the Steam store and EU4 and CK2 were still a little pricey so I had a quick look on G2A for the Paradox Platinum Pack (£89.99 on steam) and just picked it up for £8.54 inc fees.

Got EU4, CK2, Cities in Motion, Magika, Warlock 2 and Knights of Pen and Paper so pretty good deal!

I have checked a few key sites...

Anyone know where I could grab GTAV Steam key from?

It was £27 at Xmas, should have grabbed it then maybe.
