Not sure that I really want F1 2015, however for the cost of less than half a pint of beer I couldn't say no. It will now languish in my Steam library whilst I wait for Witcher 3 to download. ;)

I managed to get F! 2015 but missed Witcher 3
Thanks to the people who posted the info, pity I didnt see it earlier
I imagine it was a mistake on someones part

I wonder who loses on muck ups like that. Amazon, the developer, or both? It's not as straightforward as physical goods, is it. All done on percentages.

Presumably if they sell for 72p, the devs get a % of that 72p, and not the amount they should get.
 
Hmm tricky one that.

If it was Amazon's stock then it would cost Amazon as they would already bought x amount of keys from a publishers. If it is being sold by the publisher directly then it would probably cost them.

In this case it looks like someone made a boo-boo at Amazon and set all digital PC games to a certain price so it will probably be them who has to pay out either way.

As for re-sold keys thats when it gets messy as the keys could be stolen or bypassing currency exchange rates/taxes which can end up hurting the developer. Also in the long run it always hurts the developer as say 100 keys of their game sold for £1.50, which means they have probably lost the retail price sales of 70% of those customers who would have bought the game for £20-30 via another platform. The other 30% would be poachers reselling the keys for a fraction of the price, which also loses sales for the developer and the the rest were just people buying at at the spur of the moment who weren't really interested but can't resist a deal!
 
downloaded my copy of F! 2015, I'm glad I only paid £1.50 for it.
it won't recognise my old Cyborg 3D joystick and I couldn't even play with the keyboard, the car just spins its back wheels and sits there, tried re assigning the keys but it still doesnt work, will have to have another go this evening
