Had the same concerns as you but took the plunge a couple months back, has been rock solid (wired). Only time it got a bit flaky was when I tried to play in 4k then it starts dropping quite a bit but play the game in 1080p and its perfect (all gets scaled down to 1080p anyway)

At the price its a no brainer and if you dont like it, sell it on the bay for a nice profit
