GTA V can be had for £13.77 from CDkeys atm

lm almost tempted to play this again on PC, completed it on PS4 years ago.

It’s incredible how well the game has aged, and the prices it’s maintained, especially considering its nearly 5 years old!

I imagine the modding scene is epic too?

Just watch out for "cheating" software you may have installed. I bought and installed GTA V, first time I loaded up the online client I got hit with a 2 week suspension. Tried contacting customer support who ignore anything to do with suspensions/bans and never worked out what caused it in the end. It wouldn't matter as much but they have a 3 strikes rule for permaban. Lots of other people have had the same issue, there's a partial list somewhere of known software that causes false flags but it's not comprehensive.

It's a hell of a long time since I played them, but when I did they were immensely atmospheric shooters, but a little buggy.

A very worthwhile experience though.

There’s a decent modding community for them too.

I didn’t get on with it when I have it a bash a while ago, just couldn’t get into it. Is still recommend them though, it’s all about SP.

I remember when the trailers for the original came out, I was browning my pants in excitement.

I am guessing it should go here. GOG is offering STALKER - Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat for 10.27 EURO. Is it worth it just for the Single Player campaign ?? Have no interest in the multiplayer stuff.

The multiplayer aspect of the games is tacked-on at best. The single player is where the fun is. I bought them a couple of weeks ago; no regrets, especially considering the price.
