*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

Hey guys, dont think this warrants its own thread so ill ask in here. Does anyone know if I was to buy the Mac version of Civ V Gods and Kings expansion from Gamers Gate would it work ok on Windows since it redeems through Steam? I know the full game works but just thought I would check it was the same for add ons before I hit buy.

Ta :)

The expansion is SteamPlay too so will activate both Windows and Mac versions.

+1111111 I got it free with my graphics card but I would have gladly paid £30 for it. Great game, spent 30+ very fun hours on it, I didn't like how the story went but I enjoyed the game play a lot.

I got it free with my old graphics card too, played it for about 20 minutes (I didn't like the controls lol). I will go back to it at some point but with my 360 controller instead of mouse/keyboard.

you can get arma 3 for like £12 on some cdkey sites...

i'm tempted to get it even though its engine sucks ballz.. just want to fly about and play another kind of fps, maybe its singleplayer isn't as crap as the arma2? i dunno anyone want to recommend it?

get a global key.with arma 3 mods really taking off the price is increasing for the game now.

Sleeping Dogs is £2.99 on Steam. I just picked it up because I wanted a bit of an open world fix before Watch Dogs comes out. Actually pretty impressed with it - the graphics aren't half bad and it's a very detailed world. The FOV is a bit rubbish though

It's one of those games that you'd feel really hard done by if you'd paid full price but it's well worth £2.99 for a bit of cheap fun... it's like a B movie.

Don't agree with that at all. Fun game, lots of fighting, progression etc. and a pretty good storyline. 8.2 meta and I think that's fair. 2.99 is a steal.

So finally got the gf playing Lego marvel superheroes, doing quite well now as she no longer looks at the controller before pressing the button (well not always) There any 2 player co-op games out there on offer for a new to gaming casual girl to play? (sexism implied)

Giana sisters: Twisted dreams? I think that is the only game I've managed to get my gf to play on the PC in the last year...

Available in a bundle for minimum of $1 right now: https://groupees.com/clash4

Edit: Oops, my mistake. Not a co-op game :( (guess I got her to play it solo lol).

Sort by user rating then go through a few with your gf and see if she wants to play any of them?
PC games with couch co-op, splitscreen and support at least 2 players:

im in a proper gaming rut at the moment after only playing fifa and skyrim for the past 2 years! i shut the door on so many games except the easy arcade ones you can pick up and toss away whenever you want, but im ready for a next adventure, and i might just try out sleeping dogs after seeing all you guys posting about it! gameplay looks really good

Did anyone else get the Steam email for Outlast going on sale?

It's in my wishlist but I've checked several times and it's not on the specials list or reduced anywhere.
