*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

Im not sure we can get a discount on it really but worth a go. Best price for the new Call of Duty PC? Im struggling to find it anywhere apart from Activision themselves?

And we're off! Steam and GOG have their Hallowe'en sales on now.

Does anyone know if the GOG version of Return to Castle Wolfenstein (£2.39) just works straight out of the box, so to speak, without any faffing around? I can't play it properly via Steam on Windows 10.

Anyone here play the Truck Simulator games? I'm thinking of getting the American one but I already own the European one and haven't played it much because I thought it was all a bit "clunky" UI/control wise. Is this going to be more of the same but just with different scenery? Or have they improved the interface and things?

I have played a demo of American truck simulator in the past, it seemed just like the European version, the graphics might have been a little better from what I remember

Shemue 1 and 2! Amazing deal. I wanted Spyro Crash and Shemue for ages and almost bought just Crash for like £20 while back. This was like the good old days of Humble bundle.

Are any of the other games any good does anyone know?

CoD :p I'm actually really enjoying SP. Gives you a real feel for the war you're fighting and cinematics are great. Also it doesn't feel like some fast paced battle like the online side usually does.

I remember when Steam sales were good.
I do! You’d get insane offers like 80 or 90% off games and good ones too. Now it just feels like the offers have dramatically dried up. 20% off or the basic game only and DLC is hardly discounted etc. I don’t get excited anymore for a Steam sale.

I'm liking the look of Memories Retold. Seems like a neat concept.

Think I'll give all the games a go this month as they all look interesting.

Not sure if you purchased this in the end, but just noticed and advert saying they are doing a free weekend for it on steam, along with a sale if you decide to buy.
