They would prefer any payment over just plain pirating their DRM free products.

Fair enough then.Nothing to be weary about. GoG have talked about this themselves, stating that they would prefer we didn't, with no mention of account bans or game removals etc.
In GoG's user agreement there is mention of it
"6.10. Please treat this system sensibly and don't exploit it (for example by using VPNs or other methods to manipulate how your location appears) – that's not cool."
However, as above they have commented on this a few times and as far as we know there hasn't been any drastic punishment.
Why £20 in Russia and more expensive elsewhere? There are some very very rich Russians (if it’s cheaper because they think Russians are poor?!)Nothing to be weary about. Which is why a lot of rich Russians move their money out of Russia and into London property and the like.

Piracy. Its rife. So they have to sell cheap to try and make a profit in that market.
if they were worried about piracy they would add some DRM to their games, its more down to the value of russian currency
Indeed, according to Warman, 72 percent of Russian gamers admit to ever having used online file sharing to acquire PC and Mac games for free, which is the highest percentage in the world, compared to 64 percent in Brazil, 37 percent in France, 35 percent in the U.S., 30 percent in the U.K., and 22 percent in Germany.
Its almost like the less money the general population has the more they pirate. Have a read at this. DRM means nothing and is often pretty pointless especially when organised gangs are involved.
