*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

Looks like we get a Steam sale tomorrow, the weekend offers haven't ended today. Having now decided to spend more time on my PC and not consoles, I'm really looking forward to this one. There is plenty of stuff for me to pick up, Red Dead Redemption 2 being one.

The standard edition was £24 at Game a few months back, cheapest ultimate edition online has been £32 at CDKeys. FYI. I'm holding on for sub £30 on the Ultimate edition. Not sure on the cheapest standard edition besides Game, I think it was £28 or £29

Ta. Looks like I was a day out. Seems to be tomorrow (Weds) for the sale. Some of the current offers don't expire until 25th Nov 6pm.

Is online MP the only difference between the standard and the ultimate edition of RDR2 ?

Ah okay will just go for standard then. I mainly just want to play the single player campaign, as loved the original on ps3.
 
Are the Halo games actually any good? I've played a few console shooters over the years and never been impressed really. Ashamed to say ive never played a Halo! Is it like GOW? That bores me.

over all they are excellent.

ODST I didnt like much... the coop on them is excellent,

Reach and Halo 4 were my faves.

1, 2 and 3 were also v good but some of the levels were better than others (the library is just dull dull dull)

not sure what games are in the collection, i played all on xbox.

oh and I adore the musical score.
 
So its not like Gears of War then? thats boring duck and cover to me.

For 10.99 i'd get :
  • Halo: Reach
  • Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
  • Halo 2: Anniversary
  • Halo 3
  • Halo 3: ODST
  • Halo 4

I missed them all the first time around as I don't have an xbox, but played Reach recently on gamepass, my plan was to play through them all but found it very average so haven't bothered.

Good price though, not much to loose if you don't like them.
 
I just bagged as well.

I have completed them all (Except #5) on original xbox and 360 but wll play again with the shinies on. i love the coop in it so will likley just play that.


i wish H5 was in there.
