Fallout 4 on steam for 3.99 until 19th April.

Also apparently they are releasing some update for it.

Is it worth just getting the standard edition or GotY edition?

I think the Far Harbour dlc was the only one worth the money if I recall and is usually about 3-5 quid by itself. CDkeys has the GOTY gog key for about 7 quid I think. I clocked around 130 hours on the base game itself but didnt get the goty because most of the other dlc's were rated quite negatively.
So in answer to your question, yes its worth it to get GOTY provided you can play the game that long. I was exhausted after the base game and I didnt even do the settlement stuff (base building) that much, mainly focusing on the story and some side quests. Also upgrading to GOTY after buying the base game by itself is more expensive :D.

You won't be sorry, it's a great game (particularly when modded), and I look forward to starting it for the fourth (I think) time when the upgrade hits and most endorsed mods fixed.

Haven't finished it yet, but I promise I will this time! :p

any recommended mods i should add to it?

Ah, there's a question.

There are hundreds thousands :p of mods, best to search the web for suggestions, a lot of them depend on your play style.

Also, bear in mind the upcoming update will break most if not all current mods.

I'd recommend just starting a new game post update, without mods, and see how you get along.

@Neil79 has a dedicated thread here, but hasn't been updated in yonks.

Never really liked MK despite playing it on-stage for Gamesmaster in London all those years ago lol...

Good price, literally buying it for the Robocop DLC as Robocop is awsome! :D
