PC gaming really is in a bad way atm

I recall watching this pattern several times over the last decade or so.

PC gaming falls off slightly each time a new generation of consoles comes out. But a console doesn't get better as time moves on - you have to wait for the next one. PCs continue to improve, and as the novelty factor of new consoles wears off, the PC market bounces back.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a house full of older games they haven't got round to playing yet. Just wish I had the time!

I bought a Wii recently, because I was intrigued. Great bit of kit, but at the moment it makes the PC's selection of new games look like an embarrassment of riches. Especially since one of the few new releases to get decent reviews has now been banned!

Hey surfer, where'd you get those games at that price - have been looking to buy Jade empire and COJ myself.

As well as Wings over Europe, C&C3, Dawn of War Anthology, GRAW2, Alpha Prime, Company of heroes, Infernal... actually, got lots of catching up to do!

I was recently thinking I was bored with whats out there, but been looking at some of the things I missed and I just don't know how I missed them!

both Dungeon Siege 2 and Call of Juarez i got as part of a trade in. Traded in The Movies, Yager (really need a console pad or joystick for this) and Rainbow 6 vegas (completed it) from Gamestation.
though also Dungeon Siege 2 Deluxe is available at £8 from Virgin thats where i got Jade Empire for £15.
