PC Headphones

thought i'de post here instead because no one really looks in the sound bit.

baught some Plantronic 367's the other day

and they seem to be picking up all my music through the headset when im talking on vent / sound recorder etc.

like i can listen to a song and then if i wanna talk on vent aswell people will be able to hear my song almost as clearly as i can

Is there anyway of stopping this ?

are you using the right sound input device setting in vent? i.e. if it says "stereo mix" or "what U hear" or something similar it will pick up everything generated by your computer

This may be a strange answer, and dont want to insult....but have you still got your external speakers on? And are they are hearing the music through those instead of hearing through your headset....
