pc help please

hi there i recently installed as new mb and cpu. i got it running the day before last then i unplugged it overnight. plugged it in yesterday after swapping ram around. as soon as i turned th psu on the fans for the psu,cpy and gfx card all started spinning. theres a light on 1 of my hd drives but no boot up noise and 1 of my cd/dvd drives opens but not the other 1. th lights for the power are on. the power and reset button do not work. there is no signal going to the screen.
also while it was on i moved the case to open it up and it turned off so im not sure whether something is shorting out. please help im stuck

yup i have checked all the power connections

psu - EZCool 600W ATX PSU 12cm Silent Fan
2 x 512mb DDR RAM
2 x HDD
Pixmania GeForce 7600 GS 256 Mb AGP
Asrock coredual-sata2 motherboard
intel core dual E2160 cpu

i dont know whether there are any beeps i will check later. i will reseat the gfx card tonight aswell. I will try another monitor on the gfx but i cannot try the monitor on the mb because its a male connector on it and its a male connector on the screen. the thing is tho there is a light on one of the hard drives but there is no boot up sound, if u get me.

i can hear a quiet beep coming from the mb wen the psu goes in. as i cannot actually turn it on or off becasue soon as i put the psu wire in the fans turn round.

the motherboard has a 4bin 12V connector. the board is a asrock 4coredual-sata2 folow this link

ok i have a separate power button for the psu which turns the psu on/off. there is the normal power and reset switch on the from. i put all the components i had in the case to days ago it worked fine so i unplugged the power went to bed. then i go home yesterday opens up the case swapped ram around plugged the psu bk in then turned the psu itself on using the switch it has. then automatically the fans start whirling round. i am unable to use the power or reset switch. it was all workin fine no it isnt. the cables for power switch etc are all in the correct positions.

yes i have the 20 pin and the 4pin connected.

im very sorry, i have never been to great at explaining things. yes your assumption is correct the psu lead goes into the psu and then i turn the psu itself on and the fans spin round. these fans are the gfx card, cpu fan and the psu itself. ( its like the power button on the front is being pressed straight away, with out me actually doing it)

as the fans spin round. i cannot press any of the switches i.e. power n reset. also i have 2 hard drive and 2 disk drives.

only 1 of the disk drives initiates and i only know that 1 hard drive is sort of working because the light on it is on. but there is no high pitched boot up noise.

do you understand what im sayin?

Non-comprende - It's rather hard to read your post, due to lack of grammar or capitalization, but it sounds like the power button on your case may just have become perma-depressed. Can you push the cases' power button on and off at all?

yes i found out yesterday, when i looked at my system to why it wasnt working, there was a green light coming from the Hard Drive.

the power button goes in and out. it makes the normal click sound when pressed. i hope its not the mobo as i only got it Monday
