i7 6700K+Z170 or go X99 and a i7 5820K

Plus DDR4 RAM, dual channel for Z170 and quad channel for X99.

Z170/Socket 1151 is the same cooler fitment as 1150/55/56.

If your cooler has socket 2011 support then it will also fit X99.

You can get some skylke boards that still use DDR3 but they are the low end ones based on h110.
