PC Issue when crash

Hi Overclockers its been a while

I cant figure out why this is happening, took me long enough to realise the "cause"

If my PC is shutdown by hibernate, standby, pulling the plug..etc (so any other way than Shut Down) when I boot up again my PC will not give any display, I will get no lights on my keyboard or mouse and my front fan (for some reason only front) will not turn on.

Weird thing is this issue lasts about 2 hours, I usually keep my PC off and unplugged for an hour or so and then it boots fine.

Can anyone help me with this, Ive been dealing with it for a while but I think I should really permanently fix it now.

You running your OS on an SSD?

No, normal HDD.
Ive switched hard drives recently and the issue is still with me

tried resetting the CMOS?

no I haven't. Will that actually do anything ?

It's where I'd start. It's 2 minutes work and it will rule out any odd power settings being off in the CMOS.

If that doesn't solve the issue then I'd be looking at a possible power supply or video card problem. Ideally swap them out to find the culprit.
