Hi guys,

Today I changed my nh-d15 with kraken x62. Everything was good for about an hour. I turnd off the pc and left home. When I came back I tried turning on the computer and after 1 sec it rebooted, aftern 3 seconds rebooted again, the 3d time was on for abot 15 sec. After that..the cicle repets on and on.
There is C1 error code on the mobo.
Tried removing everything ..changing ram position, removing the ssd, hdd, gpu. Nothing works :((
What can it be? Any ideeas?

mobo is Z390 aorus ultra
i9 9900k
PCU: RM750 Corsair

Have you tried with just a single stick of RAM installed?

Try clearing CMOS... I'd also double check the cooler is seated properly as you said you've changed it recently

Yes. But I think even with no cooler at all, a pc won t restart after 1.5 seconds
I would take the cpu out and inspect the socket in case any pins got damaged.

Double check the 8 pin CPU power connector hasn't come loose.

All the screws and fittings for the noctua are accounted for? Incase something fell onto/behind the board and is causing a short.

Think it was to do with it flexing the board or doing something to the CPU pins that is for the memory controller. Sure some one with more experience will be able to explain better.

It's worth a shot though.

This may be why Joxeon suggested to check the CPU pins.

Metal backplate for the cooler the right way up? I've had mobos with solder joints around the back of the CPU socket, and the cooler backplate has rubber pads on one side to insulate aginst shorts.
Get this the wrong way round, and, well... who knows.

I'm sure this isn't the case, but as it's a bizarre fault you're suffering, it's worth checking imho!

Right, sounds to me like it could be thermal shut down to protect your cpu.

First of all did you remove the protective cover from the contact plate on the cooler? Seems like a dumb question but there's been more than one similar thread over the years where that's been the cause.

Is the pump cable plugged into the cpu header on your motherboard? If you can get into bios set the pump to 100% speed by the way.

I honestly can't see pins being bent in socket by changing your cooler. I would try remounting it though and as others have said make sure the back plate is oriented correctly.

Failing this what happens if you remount your old cooler? If it works again you've got a duff pump on your aio

It is not posibile to mount the cooler without removing the plastic cover since it covers also the wholes. u prob did n read the post. It takes 1 second to restart. So i cannot get into bios. And it cannot be a thermal issue either. There is no time in 1 sec for anything to Get warm

It is not possible to bend the mobo while installing the x62 no matter how much u tighten the screws.

Have you made sure every cable, connector etc. is firmly on its place?
Could have accidentally nudged something slightly loose when changing cooler.

After changing it..the pc worked fine for one hour or so..until I turned it off. So...
But yes I did remove every cable. I acttualy left only the mobo and cpu and tried starting it like that
