PC keeps restarting :((

At the very least, and as it's so easy, try removing all RAM and try with just one stick. RAM can fail at any time.

At least to see if it can boot.
 
Yes I did read your post, some coolers have a protective film as opposed to hard plastic and this often gets overlooked. And it does sound like a thermal shut down as if your board doesn't detect a cpu cooler it will shut off almost instantly to protect your cpu for example.

I'm guessing it's either a duff pump on your aio, something not plugged in correctly I.e make sure the cable from the pump is plugged into the cpu header on your board. Or you have bad contact.

If you have no joy, try with your old cooler again and see if it works then.
 
check the aio is mounted with even pressure either side, if you have uneaven presure it will bend the cpu out of alignment causing one end to lift up just enough to stop the pc from booting, if you mobo has a led readout check which light it shows before restarting.

red = cpu
yellow/orange = ram
green = gpu
white = successful boot

put the old cooler back on and see if it works.

Or try to reseat the aio, so far this has been suggested quite a few times but you haven't tried this yet nor seem willing too?

Would be a waste of time. I removed the cooler completley and I tried turning it on without a cooler..same thing. I wouldn t let it boot ofcourse.
I noticed something else..if I remove the cpu from mobo..it won t restart after 1 second..it will remain on for more..and as soon as I put back the cpu, it goes back doing the first thing. So, I donno it could be cpu related or smthn with the socket

take a pic of the socket up close and post it, also take a picture of the back of your cpu, let us take a look and see if somethings wrong, even without a cpu installed the pc shouldn't just restart after a few seconds, you'll get a red led indicating no cpu installed (in the video you do have a red led) is it the same when the cpu is installed?

That s good. It s a mobo issue it seems. How do I upload a photo? (From phone) i mean how do i get a url from a photo
 
Again try with your old cooler! It's not pointless it rules out your kraken being faulty or not as you know the old cooler works and that your PC worked with it.

Again if your board doesn't detect a cooler it will shut off to protect your cpu. If you remove the the cpu it won't post past the cpu check so WILL stay on until powered off or shut down automatically depending on board.

For the last time I highly suspect this is down to your cooler if that's the only thing you've changed but hey what would I know I've only been building my own PC's for the past 18 years.

The only thing connecting the cooler with
The mobo is a fan. I wil put the fan into that cpu fan slot on the mobo and see what happens. Is that ok? I don t see the point in installing the cooler..the mobo wouldn t make a difference
