Used to buy WebUser a lot back in the day c.2002-2006 but haven't bought it or any magazine for years.

Used to like WebUser over ComputerActive which was similar. WebUser had great forums back then too but they have since been shut down over the years when it was sold to different publishers.

Used to buy What Cellphone and What Mobile magazines back then too.

For those wanting just single print issues without having to go out you can mail order most magazines these days.

www.magsdirect.co.uk is one site with a selection of PC ones.

Interesting offers, webuser, has a free toolkit I guess is worth £10-20 retail. If you have use for that toolkit then its basically about a fiver for 6 months.

Magzter seems awesome at first glance but it looks like when examining , its full of lifestyle mags, webuser appears to be the only tech mag there, all the other tech seem to be one off (and probably now outdated) books.

Lots of tech mags pc mags, Linux, Mac, Windows, gaming, retro, entertainment, t3, stuff, edge (inc monthly updates)

Yeah some others have been discontinued (custom pc)

Lots of newspapers too

Can't argue @ £24 for the year (£2pm), you can even split it with 4 more 'family users' if £2pm is too much

No doubt Readly is better but not £80-100 more better imo

I still have a subscription to Custom PC. The news is always old by the time the magazine comes through the letterbox, but they make up for it by making it a nice-ish coffee table type magazine.

Same - and since it changed owners, it feels like a "quality" magazine. I also tend to read reviews and articles about products I wouldn't otherwise look at (if I relied solely on the web)

Have you checked out the Bit Tech YouTube channel? That Alex chap is an insane talent at modding.
