Hi all
Got a strange issue where my PC is no longer booting.
So I was installing an NZXT Hue+ lighting unit, and as I wanted to be turning the PC on and off often, to check the positioning, move the cables etc.. I thought I'd disconnect the power from the SSDs so it wouldn't cause any harm to the OS and would only ever boot to the POST screen (so I could safely turn it on and off using the power button).
Since putting it all back together it now doesn't boot.
It would normally spin the fans up to full speed for about 7 seconds then they slow down, this time they're only spinning for about 3 seconds then slowing down. No BIOS beeps because I don't have the speaker at my current location.
Tried removing CMOS battery for a few minutes.
Tried removing the NZXT kit.
Tried with SSDs powered and not powered, no output to the screen (but there are three ports on the graphics card so not sure if it has defaulted to an odd one)
One strange thing is that the light on my Corsair H100i is dimly lit, even when the PC is off and unplugged after a few minutes... Now I don't remember specifically looking at this before... but I think I would have noticed it - so I think that is somewhat 'new' behaviour if it gives any clues.
Any ideas please before I start unplugging bits like graphics cards etc?
Thanks!
