I have an issue with my PC booting, it's a strange one I've never come across before.
When the PC boots up normally it comes up with the WinXP loading screen when this finishes there is a point at which the screen flicks off for a second then the screen flicks back on and the PC completes the boot. Now when it doesn't boot the screen will flick off as normal but doesn't come back on.
This has only happened since upgrading my PC to the spec in my sig with a (clean windows install).
If I use a restore point it will boot ok for a couple of times before the problem reoccurs.
I've tried to identify if a certain piece of software is to blame (tried reinstalling windows again), by using restore points but there doesn't seem to be anything particular that causes it.
Any ideas?
