PC Not Booting

Today morning I was having some problems with my PC, anti-virus wasn't working, instead of the desktop there was a black screen on boot-up and was having problems with java. So I reformatted my 64gb crucial m4 ssd and re-installed windows 7 64-bit on it. I installed most of the drivers. Then, I restarted the PC and now it is not booting into windows, it is just staying on the motherboard screen. It is not even letting me go into the BIOS or anything else. I cleared CMOS.

All my specs are in my sign except my motherboard: Asrock Extreme4 Gen3

Sounds like your ssd may on way out or a problem with the bios any chance of some pic's of what your seeing on the post screen?

When u power on spam f2 to enter bios and set your storage to ahci if os on the ssd and save then restart..

It doesnt even let me do anything. It just stays on the screen like in the picture above.

Can't access bios, boot menu, etc.

When i press f2 to access bios, a black screen comes up. And then when I stop tapping it it goes back to the screen of the picture above

Disconnect ssd and install w7 on other disk. How did u reformat the ssd?

Try hitting f11 and see if you can see a boot device, with these new post srceens its hard to see what stage the post is at.

I have a 1tb seagate hdd full of stuff. I don't want to reformat that cos i'll lose a lot of important stuff.

I will try see if I see if I can get a hdd from somewhere. But my old pc has ide hdds

i think the problem is not the ssd cos i can't even do anything. Can't open the bios nor the boot menu

If not after that its time to test the ram, psu and gpu if all of them fail its either the cpu or mobo sorry to say

edit: I just unplugged the ssd and its still staying the same.

I've had the same kind of error before and it turned out to be the boot drive

can i just unplug the gpu from the power supply to test it?

Try upluging everything run it on the on board graphics with 1 stick of ram, ssd and then see if it boots,try a different psu if u can. if not its something worng with the mobo or cpu, try a standard sata 2 drive if you too

unplug any usb devices. It could be hanging when detecting them. I had a usb fan that did the same if it was plugged in while PC booted.

No because the mobo will still detect it via the pci-e slot, don't forget that the pci e still supplys around 75watts
