hey i've got an asus z-87 and an asus gtx 670 and... and i've put it in the SATA GB/S slot

is it meant to go in the PCE 3.0 slot???

at the moment if i have the graphics card in the sata 6 gb/s nothing comes up!

thank you! please help me! :)

Thanks, I've put it in the gold slot and theres nothing.

I've plugged a HDMI from the graphics card into the HDMI of my monitor

AND the VGA from the mobo into mymonitor. both show no signal when the card is inside.

so you plugged it into the PCI 3 slot ( first slot ) and it didn't work ? ye please tell how you fixed as my gpu wont work in the pci 3 lane either. I have to make do with poorer cooling in the slot below it! ( x 8 slot )

i think the onboard and graphics card were conflicting.

new problem though.. now ethernet doesnt work and im completley stumped by this one.

on vista... havent installed mobo drivers yet cos they dont work on vista so im updating to win 7 and hoping its a driver issue.

my r4 case had metal parts i needed to move off the ports for my ethernet.. didnt really like it at all.

from the control panel.. we took out the HD audio or anything to do with HD control panel cos they conflicted with the card.. well at least that fixed it for me so far.. but im sure i wont get audio now lol.

"motherboard support CD does not support this operating system (WNT_6.0P+32_MCE)"

WTF.. im on windows 7 now and the support CD is saying this

what do i do now???

WNT_6.0P i believe is referring to Vista Professional. you're best bet is to download the drivers you need from asus' website rather than relying on a disk.
