Finally, after selling laptop i have ordered almost everything for my budget gaming pc :D

xigamatek midgard tower case
corsair 500watt psu
phenom ii x4 955be
ocz spec ops 4GB ddr3 1600mhz
WD 500gb 7200
coolermaster hyper tx3 cpu h/s

+ a personally refurbished radeon 2900XT Hd 512mb till i can afford a new card :P (welfare)

will post build photos etc soon :D
 
Case has arrived :o power supply should be here about 2pm, for some reason they were shipped seperately :O the guts for it should arrive tomorrow, will gets some pics when i have psu in, already got mobo and basic cabling done:)

Its ugly as hell i know :P its SERIOUS welfare at the moment, as in, repainting fans and psu's..

when i have more money it'll look nicer :P
 
I think you may be missing one of the components :)

But seriously, I would not suggest hooking up the motherboard in the case until you have the CPU and CPU cooler installed. This is always a fiddly install and the chance of bad things happening (eg CPU pins bending) greatly increase when you try and install these components into the case as opposed to on a desk (with cardboard under the mobo).
 
i know, cpu and ram tomorrow(today) for delivery, and dw mate, im over experienced with fitting fiddling am3 sockets and massive heatsinks from awkward angles and no light without bending pins! :P
 
It'll look a lot neater sk8, the cables are ugly at the moment, didnt have any braiding and they were incredibly messy, had to use lurid purple electric tape XD
