Finally, after selling laptop i have ordered almost everything for my budget gaming pc

xigamatek midgard tower case
corsair 500watt psu
phenom ii x4 955be
ocz spec ops 4GB ddr3 1600mhz
WD 500gb 7200
coolermaster hyper tx3 cpu h/s

+ a personally refurbished radeon 2900XT Hd 512mb till i can afford a new card

Case has arrived

power supply should be here about 2pm, for some reason they were shipped seperately :O the guts for it should arrive tomorrow, will gets some pics when i have psu in, already got mobo and basic cabling done

i know, cpu and ram tomorrow(today) for delivery, and dw mate, im over experienced with fitting fiddling am3 sockets and massive heatsinks from awkward angles and no light without bending pins!

It'll look a lot neater sk8, the cables are ugly at the moment, didnt have any braiding and they were incredibly messy, had to use lurid purple electric tape XD

I sold a laptop i had, and i have a lot of mates over that love to game and my gf stays over a lot and she games too, so i have 2 gaming rigs setup, will take a pic of the whole thing later

Ok i has it all setup and booting, am trying to install vista ultimate 64 onto the new drive, it unpacks ok, then gets to expanding files - gets to about 20% then i get an irq based bsod D: anyone know why this is?

getting a bsod -

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP: 0X000000D1 etc etc

and notably it always says nvstor.sys seems to be causing the gpf

can anyone shed any light ont this

eh sorted it, somehow a 32bit os went straight on, its not reading 500mb of ram but i cba to fix it now

some pics of the new parts arriving, will take more pics when camera is charged and i have tidied up!
