PC Power up issues

Morning all,

OK so my OC machine is about 2.5 years old and has started having problems powering up - I press the power button - the blue lit fans on the front kick in then a second or so later it powers off. No beeps or lights on the motherboard light up (through the window on the side). can happen several times before i can see the lights on the MB kick in and then it boots fine.

Anyone have an idea what this might be - says to me the power unit but maybe the motherboard???

Have you tried reseting the CMOS?

Have you got a different PSU you can try in there?

thanks will reset that cmos tonight - no dont have a spare psu to try - will poke around inside the case tonight and make sure nothing is loose

have a look see if anything is loose and also check to see if any thing is damaged or dusty causing some dodgy connections
