pc problems :)

Need help with diagnosing my pc problems, basically when you turn it on it doesnt always post, when it doesnt post none of the lights for power on the front of case work. If it does boot up its fine no blue screens or anything im thinking its my mobo but need other opinions to be sure

Has it ever ran properly ?
What's new ?
How often do you view porn ?
Is your Mum single ?
etc etc etc.

its a e8200, p5n-e sli with a 4870 its not new mobo etc are probably a few years old now, and yep it used to run fine and just started doing it

I'd just re seat everything then & blow out all the dust in the coolers/slots/vents.

Then I'd do my anti spyware sweeps & have a clean up & defrag.

reseated everything etc still not fixed and spyware checks pointless if the pc doesnt even post half the time!

fans spin etc with a lack of a beep

but like i said if i keep turning it on and off it will post eventually :/

what psu does the system have ?

tried running a minimum system, 1 stick memory, hd, gfx card ?

got a OCZ 600W StealthXStream Power Supply and yep iv tried running it as a bare machine but it still does it
