had this pc a while ( in sig) and for the last few weeks its been fine. had a freeze yesterday (the kind where the last bit of sound repeats itself) but was ok after a reboot - until today

today i had another instance of this kind of reboot and also a BSOD mentioning IRQ NOT LESS OR EQUAL.

after this i had another freeze (no BSOD) that time.

the only time anything appeared in the error report/even viewer is from the BSOD. the freezes dont leave a trace in there.

i've now bumped the RAM v to 2.1 just in case but not sure what else to try

i havent installed anything new - hardware or software so not sure what could have caused this.

help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :(

It does sound like a RAM problem, try memtest86.

Also, check your CPU temperature as it could be overheating which can cause similar blue screen codes to dodgy memory.

i am getting memtest at the mo and will leave that overnight to test i think.

am also hoping that it could have been a ram voltage prob. i think this board may stick the voltage @ 1.8 which might cause probs with this ram

hopefully sticking it @ 2.2 may make amends. will still test it overnight tho.

not the cpu overheating tho, have coretemp and it doesnt go above 44C under 100% load
