PC-Q08 / Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3 mini-ITX installation problems

The small 4 pin connector on the psu is for a floppy drive.
Do you have adaptors for the case fans to get them to work on Molex connectors?
If so I'd try connecting them via molex.
Can you not also use the fan headers on the motherboard for the case fans by removing the adaptors?
Are your case fans 3 pin or 4 pin with the adaptors removed?

This page describes the connections that come out of various psu's,it will make it easier for us to help you if you know the names of the connectors you are trying to use.

LOL... I found the issue... I'm such a noob. Thanks for clearing up the purpose of the 4pin connector on the same tranche from the psu as the molex connectors (my case fans have molex connectors). I was connecting this to the mobo on the "case-fans" pins. Infact the fans should not be connected to the mobo at all.

It all works now I think.

Thanks everybody for all the feedback. Although, it all came down to me being noob :(

Yeh sounds like you were plugging a floppy power adapter into a 3pin fan power out? A very lucky man...

I don't know if the Q08 is the same as other Lian Li cases, but do you fans have a connection before the molex which is 3 pins? If so you might want to take that off the molex and connect that to the motherboard so you can control the fan speed by heat to keep them at optimum noise?
Just a suggestion if you can.
