PC random cutting out.

Recently for a couple of months now my pc seems to trip at random times, i have eliminated the PSU as i have fitted a spare one which hasn't solved the problem.
the other suspect could be the main socket, as when i fitted a usb 2 gang switch we used a 2 mil earth wire, which would be better to use 4 mil instead.
