Logic would dicate that a brand new PSU should be working fine however in trouble-shooting it is folly to assume anything. From the bit of info you have given us I would say its either your overclock is rebooting windows or 'perhaps' your new PSU is faulty?

been running the same settings for over a month, the only change is i added coretemp to startup and ati tool.

have removed these. this all on XP i have not booted into vista.

i still have warranty on PSU

Well you could leave things as they are and see if it reboots again, or perhaps you could back off the OC for a while (-100MHz) and see if that helps?

It could have been a one-off but still, I wouldn't like it if my PC did a random reboot.

i dont think its CPU but *** i do think is maybe PSU or Windows i'v messed abt with XP and could do with fresh install.

gonna see how it is without coretemp .

cheers

Hmm I would be suprised if an app like that could reboot your pc, still you never know?

How come you are using Coretemp btw? did you try MBM5? :)

m5m dont even work properly with new mobos

coretemp is verygood for cpu temps, and new version puts temps in taskbar

i normally use everest but since i messed up my XP boot after repair my XP sometimes does not load properly and since removing everest it working lol

Yes i need a fresh install but gonna but waiting for better Vista drivers and switch instead of my current dualboot

Who told you that? I've got MBM5 running fine on two ASUS A8N-SLI premiums and also my new INTEL Core2 Duo system (ASUS P5B-Deluxe).

Here is a screen from the A8N-SLI premium system:
