pc randomly powers off

not yet Ill prime when I go to bed. My temps are hitting mid 90s :( going to have to flip my lid and get my loop going asap... cause air is just not cutting it.
 
That`s what i thought. Although it `s an Asus Rep, he does give some useful info on OCing IB and in particlar, your Cpu.
 
Ahah. If theres a full ATX Z77 Gene variant Ill probably get it... Definately don't want Matx :( (mainly cause I now want a red and black build instead of just black :))

No idea as to the release date. But i would have thought if they have it on their site, it must be soon. There is a thread in the Motherboard forum about this mobo, but no word on the release. It won`t be cheap.
 
I don't mind if its up to 300 quid. I can sell my asrock for about £150 ish Id guess. It wont be for a while Ive got 1.1k worth of stuff in my basket just waiting to get spent. :p reckon 9 hours of prime means my overclock is quite stable?
 
What sort of temps, you getting now. Noticed in another thread, you have not been having much luck with the temps and timngs.
 
No random shutdowns today the VTT and DRAM increase seems to have sorted it :). When I primed last night Idleman I hit 100C on core 3 as a max. I lost the silicon lottery quite bad. an IHS flip and TIM change and WC'ing should change that though.

yup I've had my pc turn off before when I've hit 105C... t'aint good mate t'aint good. I'll get it sorted so I can have 4.8Ghz~ underwater with temps approaching 80C (I hope like hell)
