Hello

I've recently upgraded the main components in my pc using parts of the MM
i've built the machine and am noticing problems with it randomly switching completly off, no warning or anything.

I've checked in the system logs and there's a couple of errors in there normally the first error followed by the warning, it may just be coincidence but both show around the time it switches off:

PC spec is as follows:
New bits of MM
MotherBoard : Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H
Processor - i7 2600k
8GB Ram - think its patrot
New from OCUK:
samsung 840evo 250 ssd

From old build:
850w xfx power supply
GTX580
2 x 1tb hdd's, 1 160gb hdd
Case is coolermaster haf 912

I've opened up CPUz and i've noticed that the voltage and core speed is always changing, not sure if this has anything to do with it.
CPU's just running on stock cooler.

Using latest BIOS for that board? The CPU speed/volts jumping up n down are normal for idle mode, also enable x.m.p memory profile in BIOS if your memory supports it

will have a look at the bios, not checked that yet. will double check what the memory is and see if it supports it.

Cheers
