As title says, Just built a new pc for a friend. It crashes every time we try to play a game. We are able to play for a while then it will randomly crash.
The only way to turn the pc back on is to unplug the power cord and plug it back in.

The specs are:
AMD FX8350
ASRock Extreme 3
8Gb DDR3 ram
ATi 7850 2gb
Akasa Venom 750w PSU

He bought an after market heat sink as well but it couldn't cool the processor so I initially thought it was that but after installing the stock cooler, which keeps it around 56c when running a game, we are still having the problem.

Any help or advice would be gladly recieved :D

Thanks

This is the second thread I have read in the last week and both with similar problem. Common denominater, Akasa Venom 750w PSU. Coincidence?

Hey guys thanks for the response. I was thinking PSU as i have to unplug to get it back on.
So far it only happens when playing CS:GO.
I'm going to try the PSU in my pc see if it crashes mine. If it doesn't does tho could that just be down to my pc not drawing as much power?

Thanks for the help :D
