PC rebooting when VGA reaches to 81C

HI guys how are you?

I`m here to help a friend, we are fom Brazil and he dows not speak english very well so i`m trying to help him

He have a GTX 770 AMP from Zotac and he uses just like me MSI afterburner, so when the GPU temp goes to 81C the PC reboots, no blue screen, nothing, just reboots, the fan profile is set to 100% and even with this profile the GPU is getting this temp

The PSU is a Seasonic , the 520W one of this link:

i don't see any option for vrm temps.
try underclocking - undervolting the card

Yes, we was thinking to try that, how much we downlock? We never did it before

We should first try to reaply the thermal paste at the VGA or fuirst test with the clocks down?

We already changed it to 90C saved the option and the same happened, the 79 is the stock asfterburner option, we already tried to bump this up and the same issue happened

He will do that

First he will reaply the thermal paste at the VGA, is it a good idea? ASfter that if the problem is not solved he will try to downgrade the clocks and uninstall the Afterburner, is this good steps?

Guys take a look at this

The geforce Page asks a 600W psu to this VGA and he is using a 520w one, can be this the issue?

Seems to be running unusually hot regardless. GPU usage seems to be around 60% in that afterburner screenshot but you are already hitting 64 degrees? At 100% usage/flat out i imagine it is getting too hot.

I would have thought the AMP cooler should keep it under 70 degrees even at full whack.

It culd be a dusty fan or even need some new TIM, If you are confident in taking the cooler off and replacing the thermal paste, I would do that.

After reaplying the thermal paste at the VGA we played till now and the temps went really down, something about 10C and no reboot till now
