Unless game really did get a bug and Windows reset as of the setting "Restart On All Errors" it could be down to heat or volts issue from PSU, are you overclocked ?
Hard to tell cause they cool very fast after you close a game, you could try !Control/alt/del whiel in a game to see temps, or run Rivatuner and do real time recording of temps, then after you close game go and drag pointer back over timeline to see MAX temps.
Unlikely to be GFX - I think all modern ATI and nVidia cards will be automatically throttled back if they hit too high a temp, and the driver will whinge at you.
Isn't there another thread on here where you've been overclocking the CPU/RAM? Don't suppose you've done any proper stability testing? Sounds like it's not stable at whatever clocks you've got it at.
